The Youngest FDA commissioner, on April 2, 2008; was awarded as the Public Health hero from University of California Berkeley school of Public Health. In 2001, he was awarded the public welfare medal from the national Academy of the sciences; his willingness to make a difference for the public betterment from within the system and outside the system proved that if one has the will to achieve a task no matter how unrealistic or challenging it seems, one can make a significant change.
