We all know that “heartbeat” is most often used as the representation of love. Sometimes when you meet someone you think you like and you feel your heart pumping, it feels different — It is not beating as an expression of love, it is expressing denial. This poem talks about that feeling — as the title says “Sometimes heart beat is the indication of Denial”.
The poem expresses that how sometimes when you meet the person you think you like and everything goes as imagined, pitch perfect, and somehow, for no real reason, you feel that awkwardness as if the spark is missing!
